Los Tacos Azules - Ebisu
About
The Ebisu location of Los Tacos Azules operates inside Tacos Bar, its sister restaurant. During the day, the space serves the Los Tacos Azules brunch menu: a compact lineup of tacos and quesadillas made with nixtamalized blue corn tortillas from heirloom corn imported directly from Mexico. The menu features veggie options whose fillings rotate seasonally and draw on Japanese produce like shungiku and kikuimo alongside Mexican staples like refried pintos and battered poblano. In the evening, the space reverts to Tacos Bar, a fish focused omakase taco course that is a separate concept entirely and not particularly relevant for vegetarian diners.
Good to know
- The space is technically Tacos Bar, which hosts the Los Tacos Azules brunch menu during the day. The signage and online listings can make this confusing, but the daytime menu is the same one served at the Sangenjaya flagship.
- Located at 1F Suzuki Building, 2-7-1 Ebisu Nishi, walkable from both Ebisu and Daikanyama stations.
- Opens at 9am. One of the few serious taco options in Tokyo at that hour.
