HealthyTOKYO CBD Shop & Cafe Shinjuku Marui Honkan
HealthyTOKYO CBD Shop & Cafe is a fully vegan cafe and CBD retail space on the B1 floor of Shinjuku Marui Honkan, directly beneath the Apple Store. It opened in April 2023 as the first CBD shop and cafe inside a Japanese department store. The concept combines a plant based cafe with a CBD product showroom: all food and drinks are 100% vegan, most are gluten free, and any item can be ordered with or without a CBD infusion. The menu covers savory options like sandwiches (BBQ lentil, caprese, tuna), gluten free lasagna, and quiche, alongside cakes, cheesecake, muffins, and handcrafted drinks. HealthyTOKYO has been operating in the Japanese CBD market since 2016 and has multiple locations, including Harajuku, an Edogawa factory cafe, Haneda Airport, and Kyoto. The Shinjuku branch is the most accessible and opens earlier than most vegan spots in the area, making it one of the few reliable vegan breakfast options in Shinjuku.
