About
Daigo is a Michelin starred shojin ryori restaurant near Atago shrine that has been serving Buddhist vegetarian kaiseki since 1950. The kitchen prepares courses that change every three weeks using seasonal ingredients, progressing through 11 to 15 dish sequences that can include vegetable tempura, homemade buckwheat noodles, and Japanese style mushroom risotto. Private tatami rooms overlook a mossy, temple like garden, and the largest can seat up to 58 guests. Head chef Nomura Yusuke received a Michelin Green Star for sustainability.
